Intragam given platelets keep getting low having chemo and radiation rectal cancer?

platelets will not replenish, have been given intragam and prednisilone will this fix it

I assume you have immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP)?
And cancer too?

Immune globulins and steroids are commonly used first line to put ITP in remission, and usually are successful getting platelets into a safe level, but not necessarily back to normal. May require more aggressive therapy, like splenectomy, but have to see how respond.
