PLEASE HELP! Need physician advice- my dad has cancer...again...? |
My dad is 57 years old. Here is his history- I'm sorry to hear about your dad. It sounds like things are progressing rapidly, and I know that it must be hard to wait. One idea is to call the chemo doctor's office and explain about the rapid changes -- maybe they can fit you in earlier. In the meantime, you might use this time to do some research on the non-medical things that can be done to improve survival time, such as diet, support groups, and even prayer. Those things would be in addition to, not instead of, medical treatment. I hope all goes well with the chemo doctor, and I hope for the best for your dad. |
