What's the chances of having rectal / colon cancer at age 27?

Sympotms include difficult bile movements, some off and on
bleeding during movements, occasional itching and a small growth outside and away from the rectum.

I have had hemroids in the past and have a dairy heavy diet. No family history and am otherwise healthy.

Doctor wants conolooscopy but he didn't even do an exam and say a major problem in minimal. I just need more feedback if possible.

The chances are small, especially since you have no family history, but I can't say that they are zero. Take a look at the graph in the first source below, just to put things in perspective.

When you say he didn't do an exam, do you mean he didn't even look at this growth outside the rectum? If so, I would be skeptical, too, and would get a second opinion. If he did examine you, and if he felt that hemorrhoids were not the cause of your symptoms, then wanting to do the colonoscopy makes a little more sense. Good luck, and I hope everything turns out okay.

the chances are slim, but it is possible. there is a better chance it is from hemorrhoids. I would go see another doctor - if it is rectal cancer, it is a known fact that colonoscopy doesn't always find it - a better, simpler and more sensitive test is a rectal exam. although the chances are slim, it is best to find it out as early as possible - treatment, complications and survival are much better in early stages.
