Prostrate cancer exame?

besides the rectal exame can the doctor check sperm count to see if you have it someone told me that i want to make sure hes not lying

I don't think the sperm count is an indicator of the presence or absence of prostate cancer. But there is a simple blood test called the PSA that will work.

I don't think so. It's Prostate not Prostrate

"p r o s t a t e"

The blood test for cancer is a PSA dosage dear. It has nothing to do with sperm count.
If the doctor suspect an infection of the prostate (more common than cancer), he can get some prostatic fluid for a germ culture test.

Not that I know of. Only three tests are used: the rectal exam, a blood test for PSA (prostate specific antigen), and a surgical biopsy.
