Why do your finders turn blue in Raynaud's disease?

Cyanosis, the bluish color that you experience in a Raynaud's attack is due to the lack of oxygen in the finger tips because the vessels have become so constricted that blood isnt flowing in to meet the oxygen needs of the tissues.
