Does anyone have Raynaud's Disease?

If so, when were you diagnosed and how do you deal with the symptoms...I have it and was wondering how do you deal with the numbness in your hands and feet (especially in the winter)? Thanks!

i have mild raynaud's not the serious one which causes ulcers.
the main aim here is to keep ur peripheral parts like fingers and toes, ears as warm as possible. use gloves and ear band. they are a must.

Diet: Fish oils containing omega-3-fatty acids may be beneficial to some patients.

Avoid direct contact with cold foods or drinks.
Use of chemical or electrical warming devices.
Avoid SMOKING.

first of all if you are smoking, please try to quit because it is one of the aggravating facor of this condition. next is to avoid anything else that causes the numbness and sometimes the shaking or tigling of the peripheral extremities, usually anything cold. if you have to touch something cold, try to hold it over a cloth or face towel to lessen the cold you would touch or immidiatly warm your hands afterwards. and if you wet your hands, like washing, wipe dry them immediatly
