Skin rashes and bumps?

hi. i went to london last year, for a dance trip (1 nite) and i came home fine. a few days later i started getting rashes that look like blisters and netle stings! they are quite hot, red, and sometimes itchy! i have it almost every day and it's starting to annoy me. my mum has kept all washing powders the same creams and soaps and shampooos aswell!!! does any1 no what it is and sould i be concerned???

my mum says its just an allergy to something and she wont take me to the doctors as they will only give me PIRATON TABLETS! she gives me one if i get the rash bad! HELP! x

Sounds like you might have come into contact with either poison ivy, oak, or sumac. Treatment:
- Make sure you wash all clothes and shoes with hot water and a strong soap. Also, bathe pets who have come in contact with poison ivy, oak or sumac. The sap can stay on pets for many days.
- Keep your hands away from your eyes, mouth and face.
- Do not scratch or rub the rash.
Apply any of these to the skin rash:
- Calamine (not Caladryl) lotion
- Zinc oxide ointment
- Paste made with baking soda - mix 3 teaspoons of baking soda with 1 teaspoon of water
- Take a bath with lukewarm water and an over-the-counter product called Aveeno colloidal oatmeal
- Take an over-the-counter antihistamine such as Benadryl, as stated on the label

If self-care/first aid measures don't bring relief, call your doctor.
