Lately I've been getting rashes around my body that are extremely itchy, what could this be?

The rashes usually come in cooler temperatures and/or if someone brushes up against me really roughly (such as if I was wrestling someone). The rash usually starts as one bump and doesn't expand unless I scratch at it. I've also realized that if I stratch my skin, without it being itchy (just to test my skins reaction), that it quickly becomes inflamed within 2-4 minutes and then recedes within the next 15 minutes. I have terrible dandruff and even if I use head and shoulders or selsum blue, the problem still continues. I used Head and shoulder (sensitive scalp) back to back one week and I've never had so much dandruff. It was crazy. The rashes usually occur around my shoulder blades, on the sides of my knees, on my buttocks, and occasionally on the front side of my elbows. I havent changed detergents recently and I use Dove soap. Any insight on the potential situation?

Don't have sores and my rashes do itch. Havent had unprotected sex, ever. Symptoms came maybe 3-4 months after my last sexual contact.

You could have a case of nervous hives, but b/c of where you say it is, it sounds more like Psoriasis or maybe even Eczema? Both skin conditions can be irritated by dry heat or cold and water. You may want to try a creme called Aquaphor it is made by the same people who make Eucerin body cream. My daughter has terrible Psoriasis on her elbows and the Aquaphor helps within minutes. Psoriasis on your scalp can be treated with a variety of OTC shampoos, the one our Dr. recommended was Nuetrogena T-Gel. Look for a shampoo that contains tar or salicylic acid. Be sure to treat your scalp gently, as harsh shampoos, scalp massages or scratching can aggravate psoriasis. Hope this helps you out. In any case you should probably see your family physician.

for dandruff use neutrogena T/gel therapeutic shampoo, you may have seborrheic dermatitis/psoriasis, and the shampoo works great for it.... also you may have skin problems like overly sensitive skin or just allergies... go see doctor...

however these rashes are due to some allergens.that can be treated by antiallergics & antihisaminics. But my suggestion is that you must take an exercise daily for 40 minutes & massage of whole body then bath with lukewarm water. Do it for one month you will get rid of this problem.

it may hust be Eczema, visit a determatoligist they'll pin poin it.

It could be psoriasis. See a dermatologist asap to be sure and start some treatment. You should not have to suffer for a day longer. Good Luck!

Sounds like you have the "itch" , a form of body lice in which
the critters burrow down in the skin. You should go to a doctor
for a rx lotion that will kill it in a day or so.
The dandruff is a different problem. You didn't use a dandruff
shampoo long enough. Again you might need a rx shampoo.
Try rinsing your hair in vinegar water.

it could be Eczema if not just ask your doctor
