Why do I get rashes after drinking some wine? |
I've been getting rashes over my body, hands, legs when I drink certain amount (just a cup or two) of alcohol/wine.. I heard that it is because my liver is not clean. Some said if I drink more, these rashes will go away. If that is not true, how to detox my liver? I agree that you are likely reacting to sulphites, and/or the fact that wine contains histamines, which cause the symptoms of an allergic reaction within the body. You are allergic. You should not drink any. You could be having an allergic reation to alcohol. With wine it contains sulphur or sulphites which increase you histamines and levels. With alcohol in general it could be icreasing your internal heat as your body is burning energy and therefore creating heat to break down the alcohol. When I drink alcohol of any sort my face goes really hot and red and if I drink wine at times I do get a rash. I usually get the same rash when I eat too many grapes as they spray the grapes with sulphur before harvesting. I have also had the same rash when I have changed my washing powder to a brand that has sulphur in them. u are prob alergic, dont drink it Wine, in particular Red wine contains histamines. Red contains a higher amount of histamines than white wine. You could be having an allergic reaction to the grapes that make the wine. If it's red wine, you can be allergic to the tannins they use (that's why some people get headaches after having red wine too). You can "detox" your liver but flushing it out with water--not too much, just the usual eight 8 0z glasses a day. |
