Do Scabies Rashes Feel Stingy?

I think I have scabies but after a few days, the rashes and bumps that appeared on me no longer itch and are now starting to sting and feel prickly when I'm in hot temperature. I put eczema cream on the rashes when they first appeared -- they were really itchy at first -- and now they're fading away, but new rashes are appearing and they just... sting! I can't even scratch because they don't feel itchy. Just prickly/stingy.

yes, they do and you have to go to the doctor and get special lotion to put on for several days in a row after baths. you then have to clean all clothes, linens and such.

Scabies can sting and/or itch. Usually, though, they itch like crazy. The bumps classically show up on the webs of the fingers, around the elbows and knees, under arms, on abdomen, legs and feet and even private area. They can spread all over the body. The mite crawls under the skin as it feeds on the blood and leaves its feces--that's what is itching (gross, right?) and that's why it continues to itch after you've been treated. Anyway, this crawling under the skin is why some bumps go away and you get new bumps. I hope you went to the doctor though. Exzema cream is not going to get rid of the scabies though. When you get the prescription cream, be sure to follow the directions to the letter. You have to rub the cream from your jawline down to the tips of your toes--in every nook and cranny--in places where the rash is and where the rash is not. If you miss any spots, that's where the scabies migrate to and you won't get rid of it. Leave it on overnight (or however long the directions say) then shower it off in the morning.
Of course, it may not be scabies at all. Let your doctor take a look at it to make sure.
