Getting rid of heat rashes..?

In Australia spring is approach (if not here) and soon summer. I find that if I take the dog out for a walk/run or go walking out in the sun I easily get heat rashes (especially if I haven't been doing it for awhile). They appear everywhere (arms, legs, neck, body, hands etc) and it takes awhile to get rid of them even with creams. Does anyone know what to do to desensitive myself against them or similar?

Our kids suffered with prickly heat rash when they were small, and one still does when it's hot and she's out in it. Their pediatrician said it's not a matter of clearing the rash once it appears, which will happen on its own schedule, but of preventing it by avoiding overheating. This means scheduling vigorous activity and exposure to heat in the coolest parts of the day, early or late, and avoiding needless exposure to heat.

It sounds like your skin is fairly sensitive, probably pale and prone to flush easily, right? About all you can do is keep it cool. Direct sunlight is hot, of course, and you'll be cooler if you cover up with a light-colored long-sleeved shirt, ideally a damp one, before going for a walk or run in the heat of the day.

Easier than moving to Norway, right?

Depending where the rashes are (thighs, under arms, chest ) you can put corn starch on your skin before you go out walking to help absorb the moisture.

You should avoid sunlight as much as possible. Apply sunscreen cream(SPF 50) before going in the sunlight or places fully bright because of the sun. In case the rash appear, apply some calendula ointment. But as I told, avoid sunlight and make shelter as you can.

Use cornstarched powder or just stay out the heat too long.
