Rashes and Itching all over my body? |
I have rashes all over my body and they are itching bad. I have tried antihistamines thinking that my condition could be due to allergy, but it does not work. If it just came up, then I'd say some sort of allergy. Probably to some sort of food or some kind of ingredient in food, like MSG. If the rash doesn't go away in 48 hours, it could be serious. If it comes and goes, then do the food log and keep track of all the things you eat/drink. Sometimes, we develop an allergy to a favorite comfort food. you could have body lice, or scabbies... seeing a doctor is the best way to get heal completely. i started having ichness in my lower legs a while back that was judged to be an alergic reaction. i kept my legs clean and went to an infermery where i got a perscription for zertec. i myself belive that i had hives, so i also reduced my stress level as well as taking the pills and it helped the itch to go away. ewwww!!!!!!!! do you have excema, kinda sounds like it. my daughter has that and she used elidel, doctor perscribed and it works wonders. good luck! ok i won't ask you to see a dermatologist. i guess if you do not want to do that- itch and look gross- i do not care... try benadryl the tablets works great make sure your arent allergic also gold bond powder even the generic works also try oatmeal bath not the cereal a product at wallmart in the heatlth and beauty section also too hot of shower can cause this make sure of what you ate also call the poison control they are great at these call 1411 its information in the phone book .call your doctor in the morning dont wait you could be allergic to something called sizing in the clothes it helps the closthes to stay neater but it causes me alot of problems i have to wash my clothes before i can wear them to much detergent in washer... go get the baking soda put it in warm bath will help sorry i know how miserable this can be how big is the rash...if they itch really bad it might be hives. if there was a sudden onset. Could have been something in your enviroment (eaten or otherwise). I had an allergic reaction to penicillin weeks after I had taken it...I went to a quick urgent care clinic..they said it could happen that way and were able to treat me. well... why don't you want to see a dermatologist? it sounds like you should. i think i should too, because i have the same problem. i saw an alergist a while back, and she prescribed a steroid cream that helps with the itching and rashes when i remember to use it. you probably should be on an allergy med too. you could get claritin or zyrtec. (i'd recommend zyrtec. it can be bought generic over the internet on some canadian drug store sites). but seriously, if you keep on having rashes, it's probly best just to see a doctor, and probably a specialist like a dermatologist at that. sounds like hives There are many reasons to have itch scratch cycle ? meds can cause this exposure to sun some food allergies but there can also be more serious conditions such as Hodgkin's disease |
