Does anyone know of any rare diseases or interesting/bizarre diseases I can look up for a project? |

That case has been featured on the discovery channel, where I first heard about it. A few years after the birth, the family was also featured on Oprah. I dont have time to search for it, i am on my way out, but you should be able to google mermaid syndrom and find the case. Complex Partial Seizure Disorder. Hanta virus -- just look it up on Wikipedia.org There are dozens. Run a search for "rare diseases" and/or "bizarre diseases". By the way, mermaid syndrome is sirenomelia and is not a disease.
