Rape. how can you tell? |
When a girl is tested for rape, how can they tell if she has been raped or just had sex? Especially if she just lost her virginity. When having this sex, did the woman ever say "NO"? That's how you tell if there has been a "rape". Not by abrasions, bruises (necessarily), but did the person express that they did not want to have sex. Abrasions - and the degree of them. you cant really tell. they just really trust the person who is claiming it. unless they were beaten or something. they will probably search for sperm for evidence & they could go to court if the person wants justice. Generally there are a lot of tears and signs of violence. If you just lost your virginity, then there might be blood because of the hymen breaking, but if the sex was consensual, there won't be bruising elsewhere. If you have been raped, there will be bruising and tears in addition to the hymen being torn. If you said no no means no. rape is generally alot more rough then regular sex it is forceful In the Emergency room they have what is called a Rape kit. The kit consists of several tests that they perform on the patient. I know they swab the affected areas for body fluids. They also check for abrasions and tears as rape usually is rather violent and forceful. If it was rape she wouldn't have been ready, relaxed and will have bruising, tare, swelling etc, if it was a brutal rape there will be more, plus there is physiological differences There's a lot more irritation down there, the area is usually tender, often bruised and swollen. If the person just had sex, there's typically none of that. As for a first timer, tender yes, but there shouldn't be bruises or a ton of swelling. Rapists don't tend to be gentle. I'd never rape a girl. Maybe when I'm married I'll rape my wife, just kidding hahahaha. .Any vaginal ripping or tearing. Did the person ever say NO? Any bruises on any other part of the body,, arms. back, Neck. If so it was probable rape. "They" being ER nurses and doctors really can't tell by an exam. consensual sex or rape isn't necessarily different from the physiological standpoint, even bruising and tearing can happen with consensual sex. typically they take the word of the person they are examining. |
