Molestation or rape???

when i was younger my uncle would touch me inapropriately. he didnt force me to have actual sex. but he gave me oral sex. Is this rape or molestation? i told my parents and he is in prison now but for molestation not rape. I don't think my parents know about the other part.

I'm very sorry for what happened to you and hope that this hasn't affected you mentally, and well done for telling your parents. He didn't rape you but he forced himself onto you which is sexual harrassment, personally, I would tell my parents the rest of it, it may keep him in prison for longer, like he deserves.

Well they don't call oral sex sex for nothing. Our society anymore though doesn't look at oral as physical sex though....which is good and bad at the same time. Good in the sense you can suck as much dick as you want and be like "I only slept with 2 guys". vs "I slept with 100 guys but I never *********." Which sounds better? Yep, you'll pick the latter because that's what our society has lead us to believe is O.K. because it's not actually sex.

In my honest opinion it is rape. Oral sex may not be intercourse but it is still sex. I f you parents don't know you should let them know for the reason that they might be able to still get something done about it and he could serve allot longer. I also don't think it should matter if it is molestation or rape because any body that does that deserves die and wrought in hell.

You should deffinetly tell your parents about the oral sex. Some people believe that oral sex isn't actually sex but if it has the word "sex" in it then it must be right? I think you should ask your mom her opinion on the subject. It could be considered rape.

i think it is molestation....but i am very sorry this happened to you....and a member of your own family...my sympathys are with you...i wander why you did not tell your family what happened..i know it would not be easy to do...actually we had a step-dad that did this to one of my sisters and also tried with me...we told my mom but at that point and time she did not believe us...he said he was just seeing what we would do with him...but he really raped one of my sisters...and she ran away from home.,..he later after my mom divorced him went to prison for molestation and rape of a minor....i know my mom hurts over this and we have all forgiven her....but things like this do happen and we do not know even about people in our own lives...some people are just evil and have no morals to them...

Tell them everything, it will help you and may give him more time in prison.
