What is meant by coercive date rape? |
I was reading about date rape and found this definition "If a person says no and is still coerced or forced into having sex, then a rape has occurred." I understand what it means to be forced but in the case of date rape what do they mean by coerced? Can anyone explain or give me an example of what a coerced date rape is? Two people are on a date. Most likely the male, will want ot go farther. She says no a couple of times, but maybe ends up giving in, for fear he won't go out with her anymore or other reasons; regardless she didn't really want to and didn't enjoy it. i think it's the same as force. It means that the women did not want to have sex but went through with act anyway. The raper might have told her that he would kill her or hurt her family if she didn't go through with the act so she didn't fight against it physically. Date rape can be down charged as a sexual misdemeanor. But a coerced date rape is one that looks like you were beat up and there are defensive wounds and a lot of bruising. It means when the raper poops in your mouthe. |
