"Date rape" Drug?

My friend was out over the weekend at a house party she was totally fine, yes a bit drunk but in control, and within the space of 20 minutes she couldnt control herself any longer, found it hard to talk, could not stop vomitting, felt extremely dizzy and the next day did not remember a thing. Its been two days now and she still does not feel good and still feels queizy, would these be affects of the date rape drug?

Know body else was sick, and i drank lots more than her and she can definately take her drinks.
She didnt drink during that 20minutes as we were getting ready to leave to go somewhere else, we had only been at the party for around an hour. It was the strangest thing i had ever experienced.

It's possible, but she could've also had what I can only call "delayed reaction drunkenness". This happened to me a few times in college, when I had drank a lot and still felt OK, then--BAM. Couldn't remember a thing. She could still just be REALLY hungover. She needs to drink lots of fluids and hopefully she's learned her lesson!

Sounds like it. Ruffies a date rape drug does that to you.

probably or maybe she got alcohol poisioning.

did she continue to consume alcohol in this "20 minute span".? those could be symptoms of of ghb or drinking too much. the only way to know for sure is to have blood test.

It sounds like it, but there is no way to be sure now. Did anyone else get sick? Where there people that would do that type of thing at the party?

I was a drug abuser for over 10 years & tried about everything out there and I'll say this much about your friend. Rohypnol would probably not affect her so quickly, but GHB would. Typically, a quantity of about a soda cap full will cause violent reactions( vomit, vertigo, lack of coordination, etc.) It pretty much has little to no taste & mixed alcoholic beverages it would easily be consumed without notice. I have tried both & two street doses of rohypnol just made me sleepy but I still could function. Two cap fulls of GHB & I felt like I drank about 14 or 15 beers. That's about the best way I could describe it to someone who hasn't tried it.

Its quite possible. I would get her to a doctor for a check up in case there are more complications. Its nice that she has friends like you to look out for her, but next time tell her to always be careful with her drinks
