Are there any links between genetics and rape?

I was wondering if a child conceived and born from a rape was more genetically bent towards raping someone later in life.

No. Being a rapist is not a genetic predisposition.

Some people rape because they are mentally ill, which has connections to genetics. It has alot more to do with the environment you grew up in and any traumatic events, like death of a parent or molestation ,etc.

But yes genes can be a percursor to rape. If you are a man and have genes that predispose you to anger, low self esteem, feelings of unworthiness, power, control, high sex drive, and more. Add some of these together and it is volitile. You can have a person sitting back like a bomb ready to blow. Waiting for the opportune time to release the pent up emotions or release his need to sex that hunger that is there.
Not all with these genes or feelings commit a crime. It is just when certain ones mix and the person has an over-powering need and they see the perfect opportunity.
That is why a good upbringing helps nuture this person, the right friends are there for them, the perfect mate is found. Your environment can change your course in life and it helps make you the person you are.
If you are the child of a rape just remember YOU ARE BORN IN GODS LIGHT and nothing can change that unless you follow the wrong path in life. It is all up to you.
