why do males rape males in prison???

i'm still quite shocked at knowing this.

Rape is a crime of domination and control. It is not a sexual act. In Roman times, centurians would rape the men of villages they had conquered. In much the same way, men in prison use rape as a way to show domination.

Not all of the sexual activity is rape; some is consensual. Often men in an enclosed environment will turn to homosexual sex to find companionship and sexual release, even though outside of prison they would not identify as gay.

Then of course, there are prisoners who are gay.

they are just so desperate for some action

cause they dont have any female entertainment

cause they become pretty sick bastards with no women around.. Also I think they get sorta insane from being in prison, so they pick out some scrawny dude and have a go at him so to speak.. Its sick! Usually I think this is a good reason why a lot of women don't go out with men who were in prison, i mean who the heck knows what went on !

rape in every case is about power; not sex.

because everyone needs meat! and we ain't talkin pork chops.

i think its beacuse they dont have any women to have sex with and know they are going to be in prison for a while

i sometimes think about people that were fasely accused and went to prison for something they didnt do
they lose their whole life job,family .reputation etc
and they have to go to prison and be raped by other men

Because of the lack of necessary vagina to partake in heterosexual intercourse.

i think it is because:
1.having nothing to do drives them to insanity.
2.they think by having power over someone else will impress someone.
3.because they sometimes go insane..they start to think that men are attractive because women arent around.

Guys need to have sex., It's a biological fact. And, it doesn't matter if it's a man, woman, mouth or hand at the other end...it ALL feels good.
Men are also all that is available. Besides, they use it to dominate others & establish a pecking order.

This issue was featured in a National Geographic show on American Penitentiary facilities (Prisons). The statistics is unbelievable. 1 out of 5 gets sexually abused by their fellow inmate. Being enclosed in an environment full of men (no women) for several years or even decades can be sexually frustrating. Even harden criminals get raped if they don't watch their backs (literally speaking).

To those who say these people are sick, put yourself in their situation. Be in a prison cell for several years without a female companion. Sooner or later you will break down. And I don't think the Penitentiary system can hire female prostitutes for the purpose of satisfying the prisoners sexual needs.

It's a power thing. It has nothing to do with sex really. Just "I can do anything- even stick my penis inside of you and you can't do anything about it because I'm the boss around here!" Yes it's very stupid. But it happens.

OK, i know its shocking, but think about this:
you've been sent to jail for 5-10 years, and there aren't going to be any women around for that entire time. Sexual stress in men builds up quickly, and with nobody but me around to release it, they rape them. Of course not the ones who would beat them up for it, just the weaker ones, as rape is about 80% power, 15% sex, and 5% other reasons
so, well it may not apeal to you now, as your not in jail(lets hope not) if you were in this situation, than you might just do the same thing, as it will release that pent up sexual energy/stress
