Is radiotherapy dangerous for family and friends? |
Do cancer patients who recieve radiotherapy emit some kind of radiation? or something like that? Could it be dangerous for other people? no, i had radiation treatments and i don't glow or emit light or such i don't no who told you that ! it may be dangrous if your in the room when they are giving a treatment all it is its like an xray that last for about 45 min or so depending you lay there painless they have internal to. read this for more info. http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/radia... Shouldn't be unless they cut you open and exposed themselves to the radioactive material floating around in you. Bad joke, but that would be my guess. No. My mother had it awhile before she past from cancer and no it causes nor can they emit any harmful effects. no it isnt it is given to the person who has xancer and the radiotherapy is in no way dangerious to others this i know for a fact my grandmother had cancer. but it was in a progess stage and it was the cause of her death at.77. this is fact. ? There is no radiation from cancer patients unless people have radioactive seeds and this is low radiation, so it will not get out of them. There is no danger to you or other family members from people receiving radiation. |
