Is it possible for a person to be contaminated if they have sex with a person who has had radiotherapy? |
The radiotherapy was a treatment for cancer. Sorry, this may be a stupid question, but I just want to be sure. No it will not contaminate you norwill the cancer or radition be transfered to you. NO!!! But there measures to reduce your radiation - take a bath with a lot of salts and soup. not sure do you glow in the dark? Contaminated with what? Cancer is not a contagious illness. I am not sure if you mean radiation , But I had Chemotherapy first , and do know that the oncologist told me that Chemotherapy could be pass on to my husband. He said that it wouldn't hurt him but over a 6 months frame , that he would be getting Chemo in his system that he didn't need . And when I had my radiation , They told me that it wouldn't not effect my husband . Hope this helps . my husband has had that done plus chemo and we still have sex and im fine Could you possibly be any dumber!! Not likely. Radiation is not a virus or a drug & doesn't work that way. Radiation is like a laser directed at a certain spot in the body & in very small doses at that. So I think you are safe. |
