What is the effect of the radiotherapy on the companions of the brain cancer patient? Radiotherapy doesn't have any effect on others. This is radiation. It doesn't have any direct effect on the others. When the patient comes out, he is not radioactive. There may be some changes in the patient because of hair loss, skin burning, loss of funciton in neighbouring parts of the brain etc. but this is not "contagious" with others in the house. |
