After-effects of chemo and radiotherapy?

What after-effects have you had? I'm talking 5 or more years afterwards. Are there any good websites or groups where you can discuss things like this?

I had chemotherapy and radiation to my abdomen and chest almost 10 years ago when I was 4. Some late effects I have are asymmetric breasts, uneven hips, scoliosis, Loss of right ovary function, a really low sitting height, bowel problems, a risk of devoloping a second cancer. I'm sure there are many websites where you can go for support. I would recommend getting a cancer survivor book that has late effects of your type of cancer so you can learn more about them.

Well, Im not that far out yet. I currently have problems with short term memory - I often have to write things down to remember, as well as ffatigue and eating issues.

I have been told that my long term side effects will include glaucoma, infertility, possible menpause (I am experiencing perimenpausal symptoms now, but it possible it is just temporary.. although it is confirmed already that I am infertile, so as far as I am concerned, I hope I am going through menepause. )

As always with any kind of chemo or radiation exposure, you are at higher risk of developing another cancer.

I also went through a stem cell transplant, so I have to watch for things like graft v host disease as well. I have been told I will always have fatigue issues.

Over three years after finishing chemo and radiotherapy I still have some problems with short-term memory and with concentration, which I assume are after-effects of the chemo, and I still have a problem with fatigue.
