How long does the extremely severe tiredness last after radiotherapy treatment?

My 79year old Mum is feeling so bad after having this treatment, does anybody know how long it should be till she starts feeling better.Thanks.

Hi Sungold,

It's not uncommon to feel like this after treatment. It should get better with time. Talk to her oncologist and perhaps there is something that can be done.

Best of luck to you and your mother,

To find the best answers, talk to your Dr.ever one handles radiotherapy different.

She should check with her doctor. She may be anemic from the treatment. That is treatable. Also, if she isn't already, get her on a vitamin regimen to help build her back up.
