Patient with astrocytoma & surgery done 2 times after recieving the biopsy report it is stage 3 solution pleas |
In the first surgery after recieving biopsy report radiotherapy is undergone but immediately after 2.5years it has grown again and once again surgery is undergone and the biopsy report reveals it is in stage 3 and no radiotherapy can be continued,so please advice what will be the future treatment By the time a patient has exhausted radiotherapy treatment, not much can be done for an astrocytoma. This type of brain cancer spreads and infiltrates so many areas of the brain at once that surgery is no longer an option, and chemotherapy doesn't cross the blood/brain barrier. Time to get one's affairs in order; sorry. |
