Has anyone been through radiation therapy for hyperthyroid? |
I was just wondering to expect, I will be having this done... I mean, I was wondering WHAT to expect... yea my sis just did last year.. they will kill your thyroid and keep you on medication. sometimes you will feel real sick. the meds will make you hungry all the time and you might gain wieght. my sis has to take a pill at 6 am evryday and cant eat till 8am.basically nothing much not really nutitn painful. id say the sick feeling is the worst but it goes in a few hours.oh and yea, you might loose a little hair no |
