If you do not start your radiation therapy what are the chances your breast cancer will reoccur.?

If you do not start your radiation therapy what are the chances your breast cancer will reoccur.?

I had radiation and the cancer came back, in the same place. The problem is you can only have radiation in the same spot once. Some cancers do well others it is hit and miss. One never knows for sure if any treatments for cancer will last forever. It may for one person and not another.

Maybe ask "what are the chances of me going into remission with out radiation?"
They probably have better data on that.

Good luck to you! I wish I had the crystal ball for all of us.

Not Sure I understand are you saying that you have breast cancer and the doctor advised you to have this or are you saying he told you to start it friday and now it is monday. Your question is good however their are so many breast cancer types and treatments that without your history it is hard to generalize Best thing for you to do is if you are not sure ask ask ask see another doctor. cancer.org www.caring4cancer.org
