My mom had radiation therapy yesterday...today she has trouble waking up?

This is a very common response to radio-therapy.. It does get easier

No, i had personal experience with radiation therapy of my sister, in fact each session helped and had no side effects unlike the chemo.

My mother had lung cancer and the radiation is what took away all of her energy not the chemo. It does get better but it also takes along time for the radiation to get out of her system.
