How to treat symptoms from radiation therapy?

How to treat symptoms from radiation therapy?

Alternative medicine a.k.a. homeopathy.

Radium Bromide 200: 3-4 drops in 1/4th glass of water preferably empty-stomached or 30 minutes before or 60 minutes after eating; one dose daily for 3 consecutive days then one dose weekly..

Pray also ..

Best of luck!!!

I had a friend who went through this and I have a tip to combat the nausea: try very cold foods. If you can't keep any food down, then sucking ice chips will help with your fluid intake and help suppress the nausea. If you can manage food, then try ice cream or chilled yoghurt; again, these will calm the stomach and be easier to keep down than hot food.

You need foods that absorb toxins. Potatoes, rice. You also need friuts and vegetables.

Hi Jon. If you are having gastrointestinal symptoms, you might try high doses of the amino acid glutamine. There are numerous studies in the biomedical literature that indicate glutamine supplementation is helpful for radiation or chemotherapy induced gastrointestinal inflammation.

You can purchase glutamine at any health-food store. It will be best if you purchase it in 'bulk' rather than as capsules. You need to take several grams of glutamine, several times a day (these are large doses). Just mix it with water or juice and take between meals (assuming you are able to eat meals!).

I have listed some scientific references below.

Best wishes and good luck.
