Radiation exposure?

right so me and my friend decided 2 have some fun 2day in school & stick are faces on the scanner...i only did it once properly with my face on it and the other time i held my face a lil further away
have i been exposed 2 radiation or do u have 2 be exposed continuously for it to have an effect?

Scanners do not emit radioactive energy, so you have nothing to worry about. The only radioactive products that most people encounter in the US are smoke detectors and the glowing material used in watches. The amount and type of radiation in these products are restricted to levels that are not harmful.
