If the Bacillus had sporulated before exposure to radiation, would that affect the results?

If the Bacillus had sporulated before exposure to radiation, would that affect the results?

I am not clear what "the Bacillus" and what "radiation" refer to. Are you perhaps asking about radiation as a means of preserving food?

Sporulation, the formation of an impervious coat around certain bacteria, does protect some bacteria from some medications, but the coat is not impervious to x-ray or atomic radiation.
