X-ray taken consecutives time each area for 1 day a part.Is it safe or harmful? |
I been involved in a rear-end collision. And Im sitting behind. The day after the accident I consulted a doctor and I had my x-ray done 3-4x each part of my spinal bone. And doctor said it was fine but Im not convinced, bec.my bone hurts to much. The next day I went to another hospital and explained what happened. He suggested By the the way the 1st xray is the latest tech was used.2nd is the film xray. You are fine. The amount of radiation in x-rays today is very minimal - you get as much just being outside or flying in an airplane. However, I do think that the previous days images would have been sufficient instead of doing them again, but I'm not a doctor. But you consented. Remember, you always have the right to refuse. |
