Is it dangerous in the long term to live/work for long hours near large electric appliance?


In my house there is going to be a very large heating machine (giant electric water-pump based central heater for the whole house) and an electric central air-exchange machine also for the whole house just under the room earmarked to be my office (where I work many hours every day and night!). I am afraid of long term exposure diseases like cancer due to the electromagnetic radiation etc...
