Rabies or allergies?

About 4 and a half weeks ago I had a little brush with a raccoon. It wasn't foaming or staggering, and it was at 11:30 at night. It grabbed onto my jeans leg and I kicked it off and it ran away. I checked, my friend checked, and both my parents checked, but we could not find any evidence that it scratched or bit me. I did not get the rabies shot.
Yesterday, I spent 3-4 hours outside in the afternoon heat. Around that time, I started to get a headache, sore throat, and my nose has been running. I've also started coughing a tiny bit.
Yahoo! Health says the beginning symptoms of rabies are fever, sore throat, and coughing, and that the incubation period is 4-6 weeks. My thermometer jumps around... Normally I get a temperature of 97.8 or 97.9 on it, but today I got 98.7 and a few minutes later 98.1.
Does this sound like I'm just having allergies, or possible rabies? I'm going to the infirmary tomorrow. Can they do a blood test or something?

Please check with you Dr. to be sure. I don't think a person can be to concerned in a case like this. Play it safe just to be sure.
