okay so ive been bitten by a stray cat two months ago. that was dec. 5, im in the Philippines and rabies is very uhh prevalent here. i just want to ask if the cat lives on after two weeks or yeah two months? does that mean the cat doesnt have rabies? cause i read somewhere that the cat can live up to 6 years even if it has rabies... :/ i went to the doctor yesterday and she told me that she cant give me shots anymore cause its too late. im scared pls help. yes, the cat is still alive... my cousins kept it as a pet cause it was sweet lol... Your doctor is right, you need to either quarentine the animal that bit you, or, start rabies exposure treatment. There are some helpful websites you can find with google.
