I was reading this paragraph on rabies. I guess you could say it sparked my interest. they dont "examine" it for ten days - they "watch" it.. simply put - an animal who had rabies at that stage would be dead by 10 days... Yeah, I'm pretty sure on both counts - but it's always the right thing to do to immediately get checked out after an animal bite. You pass a point of no return with rabies - if you wait too long, there's nothing they can do. |
