Rabies shot question!!!? |
what part of your body do you recieve the rabies shot, and how many do you recieve? somee people have told me its 7 shots on the stomach, someone else said its a series of shots thru a 28 day period where you get them on your arms, or is it just one shot? It used to be in the stomach, and very painful but that is not the case any more. Legend still exists, as always. stomach, 7 The dose of HRIG depends upon the weight of the person, and is generally infiltrated by needle and syringe at the site of the bite. Persons who are exposed to a rabid animal but have been previously vaccinated require only two booster doses of vaccine three days apart. hope i helped:) I have always been told seven shots in the stomach area. my uncle had to have them after being bitten by a snake..I don't remember how many shots..but it was in the stomach....that was several years ago..maybe the treatment has changed..... |
