What are the ways rabies can get transmitted? How does rabies occur? get bit by a rabies infected mutt or dog Being bit by a animal infected with Rabies. Blood infected with saliva of a beast or human also its rare but rabies can also be paase threw with scratches The only way I've ever heard of it being transmitted was through a bite from an infected animal that breaks the skin.
