Rabies transmission question? |
Does anyone positively know if the rabies virus can be transmitted by garden fruits or vegetables that an infected animal eats? Would the virus still be viable? Theoretically, yes. But it's very improbable. You'd have to take a bite immediately after the infected animal does. The virus doesn't live very long outside of a host. What do you mean 'that an infected animal eats'? You mean will you get rabies if you go and yank the food out of its mouth and eat it raw? |
