Rabies scare!!!? |
All my life I have always handled stray cats. Infact I have 2 stray cats as pets now. 1 is vaccinated/spayed. The 2nd I have had for over 2 months, she is NOT fixed/vaccinated. Next Friday is her big day. You should consult the your doctor or the health department. Very few people have survived a case of rabies Oooh I'd err on the side of caution if it were me. I'd take the shots. You should somehow get that cat that bit you to the vet and see if it's infected with rabies or not. If you're afraid that it will, you might check with a local animal shelter to see if they can catch the cat without hurting it. If the tom that bit you isn't infected, you have nothing to worry about, but if it is, you gotta act fast. Chances r that u do not have. But u can get on shot, as is the practice these days, and be at ease. U can also get the animal examined by a vet. |
