Rabies I am really Freaked?

One day i saw a really cute squirrel but i saw he was more energetic then the others. When i looked at him he stared at me then was running after me i was scratched and i put alcohol on the wound, 1 hour later i found a dead squirrel. Do i have rabies? Should i go to the doctors?

its usually pretty obvious when an animal has rabies. they look very sick, often foam at the mouth, have bad sense of balance and may stagger.

rabbies cannot be transfered but just a scratch from a claw. it can only be transferred from a bite.
so im pretty sure u are fine!

on the other hand animals can carry a lot of bacteria. so keep an eye on the wound and if it becomes red and swollen, and numb or anything else unusual then you should go to the docs asap.

you need to go to the doctor ASAP, even if it isn't rabies it could be a serious infection. best wishes :)
