If my dog has had a rabies vanccine could i still get rabies?

if my dog has had a rabies vaccine and killed a rabid animal, then i go outside and play with my dog (licking involved) could I get rabies?

If you play with your dog immediately and there is still saliva or brain tissue from the rabid animal all over your dog's mouth and then your dog bites you, or licks you on open scratches, wounds, abrasions... then a teeny tiny maybe. Verrrrry unlikely, non-bite exposures to rabies are very rare.
Here is the cdc FAQ site:
http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dvrd/rabies/Qu...

p.s.coming in contact with the blood, urine, feces of a rabid animal does not constitute exposure, so it would have to be saliva or brain tissue.

you need to wait at least 4 weeks after the vaccination for it to work

Talk to local animal control. It sounds unlikely unless the blood on the rabid animal got on an open wound on you.
Even if the animal was not rabid it is not good for your dog to eat injured or sick animals. They may have been poisoned which could hurt your dog.
