My right ear is throbbing and it hurts? |
ok so i just got over a small cold. i had a sore throat for a day. then i had a runy nose for about another day. the sore throat went away. i think it was part allergies too because i didnt have a fever. but anyways, i had a small cough yesterday(mainly when i laughed) and now i woke up this mornign and my right ear feels like tehre's alot of buildup in it. when i yawn, it throbs and i dont wanna get a Q tip and do investigating. i took some benadril and nothing has happened(partly to stop my sneezing and other allergy related stuff). what should i do? i HATE eardrops and my moms at the hospital with my sister so she said only to use the eardrops if its UNBEARABLE pain. help?? should i lay on my right ear to stop the throbbing? cuase when i tilt my head to the left, it hurts. You have an infection in the ear which needs treatment (antibiotics). DO NOT use the ear drops, you could make the infection worse! Tell your Mom you need to see the doctor very soon. You have an infected ear and the only way for that throbbing to go away is to treat it with drops. |
