I have had renal obstruction and pyelonephritis in 3 of 4 pregnancies. All but the normal pregnancy lead to early delivery. Each time I was refered to a urologist and treated. Have had j tube stent and early delivery. This time my doctors won't do anything at all even refuse to refer me to a urologist even though the perinatologist who refuses to take me as a patient actually said She believed I had kidney problems and would not investigate. She just wanted me to endur the excrutiating pain until I went into labor. What the heck is going on? why is the protocol so different and my treatment is being delayed when I have been treated in the past pregnant. Can anyone explain? your urologist and OB will explain when you call and ask them. |
