Is there anybody else out there dealing with Protein S, Pulmonary Embolism, How do you deal? |
I ahve Protein S and Prothrombin gene mutation 20210A is there anybody out there like me? I have had a pulmonary embolism and superficial clotting. I am on coumadin. What do I have to look forward to? Below is a good support for you to join that have many other people that have the same clotting disorders that you have. You really aren't alone. I have had 5 pulmonary embolisms...in a three month period i actually had to have a filter placed in my aorta to prevent further problems. I am lupus anticoagulant..meaning i clot easily i will be on coumadin for the rest of my life...I have to be tested weekly due to the lupus and the coumadin don't seem to want to regulate in me. The best thing you can do is to be sure and have your blood checked as often as you can too thin and you bleed to thick and you clot.....I hope you can regulate yours however my doctor has told me they are coming out with a new medicine that works better than coumadin ever thought of and testing as often will not be necessary anymore. Best of luck to you. |
