It really depends on the person.
Some people respond well to the atypical antipsychotics, like Zyprexa and Risperdal. Some people need the older antipsychotics, like Haldol. And then there are the people with more severe cases that respond only to Clozaril. There is no best medication for people with psychotic disorders.
