Does sleeping naked prevent piles?

i had a minor outbreak of piles a week ago even tough i dont eat spicy food and i am just 25. my doctor advised me oral tablets which solved the problem. but a few people have told me that i got piles because i sleep with some sort of night trouser or shorts on and that i should sleep naked.

so i want to ask will it help in preventing piles if i sleep naked???

This is not true, The only thing that can help prevent piles is to change your diet. Drink plenty fluids, eat lots of fiber, and eat less sweet food & drinks . They are not nice thing麓s to have , but if you change your diet, which your GP should have told you to do, then you can help prevent them

A high-fiber diet can help, because constipation is a major cause of hemorrhoids (piles). But diarrhea can also cause them because of the frequent wiping.

Also - squatting, or sitting on your haunches, can also contribute to hemorrhoids because of the internal pressure on your rectum. True. My father in law got them because of this, and required surgery. He almost bled to death - because of piles.
