Physical therapy target audience?

who are the target audience in physical therapy practice and how do we reach them.

I disagree.

I worked in a physical therapy clinic and our target audience were older adults. We had stroke patients, 90 year old ladies with broken hips, etc. Old people get hurt a LOT! We also got quite a bit of the middle-aged peeps. On the job injuries like carrying something and tore their shoulder rotator cuff. We saw some young people too. The list goes on!

The target audience is EVERYONE. If you are human and you have the capability of breaking a bone (or have someone break it for you) you can be physical therapy patient!

Physical therapy and sports is HUGE, but mainly because these are the big moneymakers, not because it's the target audience.

And "how do we reach them?" Ummm....I don't understand this question...but..if ANYONE gets hurt....you go to the doctor. The doctor then...tells you to go to physical therapy!

People usually work with a PT from a reference they get from their regular doctor after injury. Figure out how to increase references.

Huge target audience is high school athletes. They get injured all the time and have parents who can pay for therapy!
