How many phobias you have? Got any cure?

plz give description of ur phobias. Its one way we could learn abt phobias

SNAKES.

I am afraid of air travel, death, disaster, sickness, fishes(weird, isn't it?). Dead bodies..like this

as a child, i have suffered from a brief psychotic episode (or so my psychologist tells me). my symptoms point to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder and Dependant Personality Disorder. i have also experienced symptoms of a major depressive episode and as a result, suffer some minor social phobia due to my many compulsive thoughts and behaviors. thus i suffer from panic attacks with agoraphobia (mostly seperation anxiety and such).

i have also experienced several Generalized Anxiety Disorder symptoms, but not in the frequency that woud meet the criteria for a full-blown episode. (these are my psychologists EXACT words, that i quote)

nonetheless, basically, my main phobia revolves around being afraid of being incapacitated or embarasses by a panic attack of one or more of the above disorders in a public place. so, in a sense, i am afraid of my own self and my own fears...

i'm afraid of snakes, worms... any slimy creatures.
it's funny you know, i'll shiver when i see a cartoon snake or when anybody mention the snake word... but i've not been attacked or get close to one before

i'm afraid of ghosts and stuff too.

I am deathly afraid of caterpillars. I can't even look at a picture of one without having a panic attack. I can't sit in a room knowing that one is in there so I guess counseling is out of the question for now. If I see one I have this impulsive desire to run for my life and if someone gets in my way, they better watch out because I will punch, scratch, pinch, and bite to get away.
