Leg bruising no pain? |
I have a very nasty bruise just above my knee on the back of my leg. I did not hit it on anything so I do not know where the bruise came from. In the past I have had phlebitis which caused similar symptoms but it was very painful all the time. This bruise is not painful at all unless I touch it. I also feel a not under the bruise. I have been spending a lot of time exercising for the past 7 months but I have a personal trainer to help me and prevent injuries. I do not want him to know about this because he will want me to go to the doctor. I do not want to go to the doctor because I was put on bed rest the last time I had unexplained bruising. Does anyone have any idea what this bruise could be from? I wondered if it was a pulled muscle. ?I am currently elevating it and putting ice on it. What do you think is wrong and what should I do. I have discountinued exercising untill it goes away. . Go see a doc. The 'knot' might be a hardened vein or worse, a CLOT. Go to the doctor dont worrey about the bed rest your health is more important than anything else. Be careful. you never know what could happen. Stop all gym activitvy until the doctor clears it. |
